quote:'This new "rainbow" or colourless talk is to avoid facing reality and it shows the resentment some have for the FACT that all the enlightened persons who raised human awareness (saviours) were Africans (Black).'
Not surprisingly even Heather seems to agree with that eagerly. And somebody who seems to be rolling in her own glory spreading missionary benevolency could and must meet emotional resistance, I guess I can feel with you Aisha.
Just I can't agree that many friends of mine and their countrymen, be they Mexican, Indian, Japanese, or Balinese, as I happen to stay at that indonesian island right now, and also me, most of them who never even have met any black wo/man in their lives or know of any black enlightened person, for that very reason never should have met any enlightened person! I thought concepts like God or Enlightenment must be all- encompassing, or else they don't just match up. Aisha, couldn't it be that this very attitude that you show here produce the kind who want to proove how much they agree, though they simply can't share in on par?
Curious if my comments will once meet harsh disagreement or criticism, for how lucky I'd be!
Don't count on me defending or explaining though, because I am just a poorly qualified intruder, lacking in proper english, can't match the intellect and reasoning of most of you, and don't know anything about Rastafaris than what all of you show me here on this board.
greetings.
