Here is a small conversation that transpired between two of my students today.
Sue-"I don't have a religion"
Karen-"Everyone has a religion"
Sue- "I don't"
Karen- "yes you do, everyone does"
Sue- "No I don't. I was never baptized. We don't go to church."
Karen- "well what are you? Christian?
Sue- "no, I said I'm nothing"
Karen- "you have to be something, you just don't believe it yet."
Sue- "no I'm not"
Karen- "you have to be something"
Teacher- "She is something-----she is Sue."
HMMMM? What do you think?
