No. Unlike you, Selassie say to respect people's beliefs. He say no man can interfere in the realm of God. He didn't stone to death all the Muslims and Beta Israel and people with pre-Judeo-Christian belief in Ethiopia.
And he abolished slavery in Ethiopia. And applied the death penalty to slavedrivers... one of the few circumstances in which I would agree with it.
