NYC is cutting funding to the Board of Education by 16%, funding to the homeless by 17%, and is suspending the recycling of glass, plastic, and metal. They talk about a 4 1/2 BILLION dollar decrease from last year's budget.....well I can think of a few OTHER things they can take money away from instead of CHILDREN, the HOMELESS, and the EARTH.
