Bredren I recommend you check this video about the late great self-taught historian John Henrik Clarke. (I think that's his name). I can't remember the name of the video but it's narrated by Wesley Snipes (didn't know the brotha was conscious like that!) Clarke puts it very well, he says Marx was a "Johnny-come-lately" and that the basic ideas of socialism originated in African societies, and other traditional indigenous people. Check it out! Raspek.
