My thoughts are not your thoughts

INBOX - The PostOffice

From: Neena Chandiramani
God's Word - My Thoughts are not Your Thoughts (taken from Larinda)
"For my thoughts are not your thoughts,

neither are your ways my ways,"

declares the LORD.

"As the heavens are higher than the earth,

so are my ways higher than your ways

and my thoughts than your thoughts.

As the rain and the snow

come down from heaven,

and do not return to it

without watering the earth

and making it bud and flourish,

so that it yields seed for the sower
and bread for the eater,

so is my word that goes out from my mouth:

It will not return to me empty,

but will accomplish what I desire

and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

You will go out in joy

and be led forth in peace;

the mountains and hills

will burst into song before you,

and all the trees of the field

will clap their hands.
Isaiah 55:8-12

Words from a Simple Heart

When the world is dark and you're longing
for someone to shine their light...

When the world is cold and you're longing
for someone to spread their warmth...

When the world is jaded and you're longing
for a sign of innocence...

When the world is senseless and you're longing
for God to reveal His presence...

Get up off your bench of longing. Step away from the
sidelines of your life and step on to the playing field.
Don't allow your short time here on earth to be a
passive experience. Take the initiative, find your moxie,
dig in your heels and be the need you so desperately
seek.

Be the beacon that splits the darkest sky. Your light is
as bright as you choose it to be.

Be the warm wind that thaws the frozen landscape.
Your warmth is as far reaching as you choose it to be.

Be the window for innocence lost. Your ability to gaze
upon cruelty and find kindness, ugliness and find beauty,
hate and find love, is as penetrating as you choose it to be.

Be the grace that the Hand on your heart extends to you.
Your example of a child of God is as powerful, moving
and life changing as you choose it to be.

When you need light, be a light. When you need warmth,
be warmth. When you need innocence, find innocence.
When you need God, be the mirror image He made you
to be.

Longings will fade into the shadows. You will stand in the
beams of sunshine that are seeking to break through the
clouds of your need.

Your life is as rich and meaningful as you choose it be.

Living in love and loving life,

Terri McPherson
