The number of tribes is 12 like disciples that this ONE from Nazereth chose...There is a woman in each tribe...therefore there is 12 woman figurative...likewise for 12 man, one for each tribe...

it takes a man and a woman to make one being...man and woman coming together is like 12x12 figuratively that = 144...remeber it is written that humans should be fruitful and multiply...

the thousand is a figurative number as someone else posted...12 thousand from each tribe...wich is 12000x12000=144000.

...remember a Lords day is like 1000 yrs...to show that figuratively, what is in heaven is 1000 times on earth...and what is done in heaven is done on earth...144 in heaven/figuratively, 144000 on earth/figuratively.

yet remember the parable in that was told by this ONE, that many are called and few are chosen...HE "chose" 12, like unto 12 tribes of israel, use these 12 to "call" evryone by HIS name baptizing them in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit/figuratively...

yes this is for the Jew and Gentile...evryone getting the same pay at the end of the day jus like the parable explaining "many were called, chosen are few". yet remember He chose the disciples first...so as it is written at the end of that parable "the first shall be last and the last shall be first"...equality

144000 is not all who ago reach MOUNT ZION...yeah u know...all of Jah creation naturaly...
