Re: Concerned about intolerance on boards

Greetings, Ital Iman and give thanks for your response.

If the truth be told and that's all I speak, I have always been interested in what you had to say especially your convictions in regards to the meaning of RASTA. Years ago, while I was coming up these were the beliefs of RASTA, at least as I knew it. I've been criticized numerous times for calling myself a sympathizer rather than RASTA. Whites were not RASTA in those times.... This was not our struggle or our culture.
What I did STEAL from I's culture was the love of I-SELF, the love of all things natural, Nature in and of itself, the love of all mankind NO MATTER WHAT. Most importantly....love of the ALMIGHTY for his guidance and protection. I challenge anyone to come to my gates....experience my kingdom....look me in the eye and tell me I don't live in heaven on earth. This, I have accomplished through my long road I've walked as a "follower" of RASTA. Things have changed over the years and this I have learned from listening to the youth. Who let the meaning of RASTA change? WE did. All those who have come before.
A "revolution" is not the answer. Not now. The youth are seeing enough "bloodshed" as it is. Let's not teach them about hate but survival and that can be done by the positive teachings of RASTAFARI. A true RASTA can walk through hell and still come out triumphant!
When you start speaking of "Master Blaster" etc. is when you loose me. Too confusing for my simple thoughts, so I move on.
Its too late to try and take back what has already been lost but it's our responsibility to help the youth progress the right way towards higher levels of consciousness as only JAH knows it.

Blessed love to I, NO MATTER WHAT....
