Rasta and Relationships

HAILE SELASSIE the 1st !!!

Ok ya’ll, I just finished watching a tape entitled ‘Kissing Wordly Dating Goodbye” by Taffi L. Dollar, and I will have to say, it was magnificent. We all have to watch it together one day. Here are some points that I got from it, and I would love to share it with you. Please feel free to share it with others.

Ø Dating Leads To Intimacy, But Not Necessarily Commitment. (So True!)

Ø Seek a deep friendship first. Relationships are built on a solid foundation.

Ø Character Determines How The Person Is.

Ø 3 Things To Look For When Determining Someone’s Character:

1-Their Relationship With God (Will Of God)

2-The Way He / She Treats Others

3-The Way He/She Disciplines Their Life

(i.e. Responsibility, Maturity, Actions)

Ø Without A Relationship With God, One Is Subject To Do Anything. They Have No Resistance!

Ø Abstain From Fornication!

Ø Dating Skips The Friendship Stage And Immediately Jumps Into Romance (Intimacy).

Ø Intimacy Is The Reward Of Commitment.

Ø Set Boundaries!

Ø Dating Often Mistakes LUST For LOVE.

Ø How Does He/She Handle Their Body/Temple?

Ø How Do They Approach Life? What Is Their Attitude About Life? (Goals & Aspirations)

Ø How Does He/She Handle Money?

How Do They Spend Money? (Very Important!)

HAILE SELASSIE the 1st LIVES ITERNALLY ...
