Re: Where is a mixed person roots from???

Isis I,

As towards the reasoning in this line I&I overstanding is the following. As with many Idren, I&I family also cover the different shades of Ifreeca. However there is no one that considers him or herself white or brown, for all of us are very much aware of our Istory. I&I father, black him black, is the father of nine, by five different queens. The queens vary from pure white to pure black, still we are all brothers and sisters and....black we black.

Actually the eldest breddah, the one with the white mother, is the most militant amongst I&I, do not call him white, near white or even brown for you can expect a very violent reaction. Most of those visiting this board would absolutely freak out if they would hear him reason, especially knowing that I&I reasoning, quite moderate, has them flipping up already.

It is all about the identity. Basically, Peter Tosh in his song “African” says it all; one should study the lyrics and find overstanding in these. I&I all know that His Majesty is black, there is no doubt, still I&I darker then His Majesty, still His Majesty is black. The color games played with many mixed peoples has many of them confused, many are given a privileged social position over their darker Idren that twists their minds and has them forgetting their Ifreecan Roots. I&I cannot tell one what to chose, but one thing is for sure; society will make them chose, one day. Those who cannot, will remain in some kind of twilight zone, minds confused with confusion.

There are two points I&I need to disagree with the one Edmundo; first of all I&I have been to Venezuela, you might say that you are all Venezuelans but I&I experience is that there are first, second and third class Venezuelans and you may guess which shades fit into those classes. Secondly, your idea about one race a thousand years from now, well, that might happen, especially if those that call Marcus Garvey’s words “a bunch of shit” get to control things.

However, I&I will not dis Marcus, so as long as Ifreeca is for Ifreecans, Irope for Iropeans, China for Chinamen, Australia for Aboriginals, etc. and I&I Rastafari keep trodding with this consciousness and keep out trespassers and obtain true repatriation, I&I know that Ifreecans will be here for Iva, in many shades of black....... Hail H.I.M. Jah Rastafari, Ruler of Iration in Who’s Image Man was Irated....feet like burned brass and the hair like the wool of the sheep.

Without Apology,
Ras Qabbalah
