what is the world coming to?

I have been sent to a school by the court where I was told I would have to brush out or cut my hair because dreads were starting-there reason for this? Because one of their rules mentions tha no one is to have their hair arranged in a way which advocates drug use.DREADS DO NOT IN ANY WAY REPRESENT OR ADVOCATE DRUG USE.I am shocked that they are getting away with this. I was also told that I couldn't get a job in the real world if I had dreads, and that "society" looks down upon it.I have argued with the man telling me this on several occaions, and he tells me that my argument would hold up in Jamaica or Florida but not in Placer County (which is where I live). Do you think having dreads means someone is doing drugs, unemployed, and unable to interact with the rest of society?Of course not!!I disagree with their argument completely and I will fight this. One girl's voice they can ignore, but if I can bring this to more people's attention and possibly get some input or voices to join mine, I believe that the courts will NOT be able to ignore this and get away with something so absurd. Thank you.
